Stands for bassoon and contra bassoon
More than 20 years experience in making of Bassoon Stands
The current portfolio of bassoon stands covers three different versions of a bassoon stand, a contrabassoon stand, and stands for Heckelphone and even Lupophone.
The small bassoon stands weighs about 400 grams (0.9 lb) instead of 2.5 kilo and collapsed all parts fit inside your instrument case, the nesting carbon tubes even fit inside the instrument.
Because bassoonists already know the very low metal stands, they know they can trust the small carbon bassoon stand, and it is of WoodWindDesign’s second bestsellers. Strangely enough, the majority of bass clarinetplayers prefer the large bassclarinet/bassoon stand (our very bestseller),probably thinking big equals good.
The stand for contra weighs 550 grams only, and uses the same system of nesting carbon tubes and propriatory parts as the bassoon stands.
Other innovative WoodWindDesign products that could be of interest for bassoonists:

The many different solutions that are already on the market to carry a bassoon, prove that the bassoon’s weight and playing posture is a problem. WoodWindDesign has the ultimate solution.
